IV Moscow International Festival of Landscape Art, Horticulture and Plant Nurseries "Gardens and People" will be held at VDNH from the 11th to the 27th of August 2017 .

During the 17 days landscape festival will be filled with business and professional program, lectures in the Green Lectorium, interesting master classes, meetings with industry leaders, excursions, music and a cozy summer evenings.

Traditionally, the central event of the festival will be the show gardens contest. The show gardens will be created by landscape designers from different countries. "Contrasts in the Garden" was chosen theme for the show garden contest in 2017.

We invite everyone who wishes to evaluate their creativity to participate `in the competition of festival show gardens.We are pleased to note the enthusiasm of the young landscape designers - this year we introduced a new nomination "Gardens of Beginners". Artists are invited to demonstrate contemporary art trends and to join the participants of the nomination" Landscape art object. "

This year Michel Pena one of the outstanding modern French landscape architects, the author of the concept of Moscow Landscape Park Exhibition Center is invited to the jury.

I think our festival is a very interesting social phenomenon .

Partly it is developed through sponsorship. Partly- at the expense of public funds. Partly - at the expense of investments by large developers companies, whose task at the end of the festival is to sell real estate in the adjacent territory.

"Gardens and people" is built by the support of dozens, hundreds of smaller sponsors who are keen to create a story with which they grow in the space, which is comfortable for all.

I call for colleagues from the landscape industry for support. Only the solidarity of all the industry participants can make a truly bright, large-scale event. And in turn we will give you an opportunity through our advertising to find your buyers, to meet your colleagues and present your product in the most favorable way.

We note a huge growing interest from the media, both federal and regional. Our constant infopartners are waiting for the opening of the festival to get new material from professionals, to find out about the latest trends in the landscape industry, to receive practical advice and consultations.

We are looking with hope and expectation for August 2017. We are looking for new exhibition formats, new options for interacting with a new audience, developing educational and entertainment programs.
